Announcements for the Weekly Net
We are seeking net control stations for the south county net on the following dates: July 7, July 28, August 4 and August 11, and later dates. Please contact NY6E to register. South County ARES members are also reminded to perform NCS duty for the countywide net at least once each year.
The South County ARES website has moved to a new URL: https://southcounty.slo-ares.net A URL redirect is in place from the old site until the end of 2026.
ARES members desiring RACES authorization can find the recently updated steps on the South County ARES site. Be advised that all RACES authorizations expire after 2 years so if you haven't received a new RACES badge from SLO County, your authorization has expired. Contact NY6E for more information.
